Milwaukee Scrapbook Expo was “Sheer” AWESOME!

Happy Sunday… I can’t believe I am already working on my May & June Class schedule.  What happened to the month of March & April?  I feel like this year is just flying by.

Did you get a chance to visit the Scrapbook Expo?  If you did go I hope you stopped by The Rubber Cafe booth.  The booth was full of “teach & take” excitement, Demo’s by Melissa & Michele, and great show specials.  Thank you to my local friends that stopped by to say hi and check out the Rubber Cafe booth.  I was really excited to meet my Design Team member Maya!  I was also excited to hang out with some new friends that I met during our “teach & take” cards this weekend.  I had a great time hanging with the Owner of The Rubber Cafe Melissa Forsyth and her wonderful friend & Marketing Director  Michele Ciola from Creative Mayhem.  I learned so much from them in just 3 days (long days)  but fun days. I hope to work with them again in the future.   I am even happier that I was able to stock a few of my shelves with new products from The Rubber Cafe.  Yep.. I will finally be selling ” The Rubber Cafe” products.  I will also be teaching a few classes using all of their products.  The new classes will start in May and these classes will only be available in my studio.  If you are interested in more info regarding these classes specifically then message me ASAP since I will have a limit on class size.

The Rubber what?  The Rubber Cafe!  Their  products are amazing!   Their stamps are deeply etched red rubber and are made right here in the good old USA…San Diego  California to be exact.  The Rubber Cafe also has a line of glitter, flock, puffie paint, and a tacky drying glue called Scrap happy Sheer Glue  that works so well when making all those hand-made flowers, faux ribbon, glue dots, glitter paper and so much more..  take a class with me to learn more.

I spy some Rubber Cafe Products in my Shop.... I have stamps, tools, glitter, and more.

My youngest "teach & take" customer.. only 15 years old.. on his way to a great Crafty Future~ named "the artist".

Have a great week & be sure to stop by my Facebook page for more info regarding new classes.   Now go scrap something~  Kimberly

Glitz Spring Banner

I recently made a post about loving the new Pretty in Pink collection from Glitz Design.   Since I love it so much, I decided to make another banner for my Scrap It Girl shop.  This banner is made using the Pretty in Pink Paper Collection and 4 pieces of Canvas from Canvas Corp… I used the canvas for 2 of the banners and the 2 mini hearts.  The Giant Rhinestones in the center of my rosettes are from the Pretty in Pink Collection.  The rope is from May Arts & my clothes pins are from my stash.  I used my favorite glue from the Rubber Cafe.  Thanks for checking out my SPRING TIME banner.  If you want some of this collection and live near me.. stop by I sell this product in my shop.
