It’s Tuesday Morning! Pumpkin time.

Today’s craft project using Tuesday Morning’s orange, green, & brown cardstock is this paper rosette pumpkin.

This paper pumpkin idea has been around for years.   You can find many variations of it all over pinterest, blogs, websites, etc…

I have no idea who came up with the original design.. but they are a paper genius!

This rosettes can be made using many different products
Here are a few different tools you can use to create the rosettes.

Martha Stewart Score Board
Basic Paper trimmer w/ the score tool instead of a blade
Basic Paper trimmer w/ a bone folder
Ribbons and Rosettes Cricut Cartridge
Close To My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge

Tim Holtz Rosette Dies work for smaller rosettes
or the good old fashion fan folding technique using your fingers

Of course I am sure there are many other things you can use to create a rosette.. this is just a list of ways I personally make rosettes.

Which ever way you decide to make your rosettes you will get the same effect as long as you have multiple sizes of rosettes.  Layer any way you want.

My stem was created by rolling brown cardstock.  I have also made them by using sticks or rolled burlap.  Add real burlap, twine, sticks, or rope for more textures.

Mine is inked w/ vintage photo distress ink and finished off with a spray or two of glimmer mists

Get creative make it as big or small as you want.  Stock up on orange cardstock from Tuesday morning.  You can get 25 sheets for $1.99 that is a deal you can’t beat.

Here is another pictures of some of their holiday paper craft products you can stock up on .

It’s Tuesday Morning! ( DIY~Mini Album)

Hello!   It’s Tuesday Morning!

Welcome to my 1st day of doing my “Tuesday Morning” posts.   Not just because it is Tuesday, but because I will be doing posts regarding the store “Tuesday Morning.”

When I lived in Denver Colorado I would frequently shop at my local “Tuesday Morning.  At that time I would shop for home decor, holiday décor,  and gifts.

When I moved back to Kenosha, Wisconsin I didn’t see a Tuesday Morning until later I finally found a few in Illinois.

A few years ago I was really excited when they put one right here in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

I now find myself shopping in all areas of the store.  But my favorite area is now the huge craft department.

Since I am a paper crafter and a paper craft instructor I am sometimes able to find supplies for my classes.

I was shopping at Tuesday Morning so much, I decided to take a part-time job there.  I only work like 8 hours a week but I love it.

I am the Craft girl.. which is fine by me.   We were one of the lucky stores to be chosen to feature the DIY  Do  It Yourself craft collection by American Crafts.

So  I decided to create a mini album using about 98% of the product from this collection.  The only other items I used was some ink, red sharpie, ribbon, and adhesive.

Every thing else was purchased at Tuesday Morning.    Please call your location to see if they have this collection.

Thank you for checking out my Tuesday Morning Mini Album, check back next Tuesday to see another paper craft project.

If you want to see more fun things from Tuesday morning you can follow the Tuesday Morning   Pinterest Boards,  Twitter account , or give them a thumbs up on Facebook.
