It’s time for Scrapbook Expo in Milwaukee!

Tomorrow is the big day where the vendors are setting up their booths.  Friday and Saturday the Scrapbook EXPO  is open to the public.

Are you Ready to shop, crop, do make n takes, and meet new crafty people?  I will be there tomorrow setting up, then the real fun starts early Friday morning.   I will be working in  THE RUBBER CAFE booth.

If you are a local fan of  Scrapbook Expo  you are probably familiar with its location.. you can find the Scrapbook Expo located in the Wisconsin State Fair Park.. super easy to find~  Scrapbook Expo is fun, huge, tons of shopping experience, make n takes, ideas, demos, classes, and more.. I hope to see you this weekend~

Mini Album Monday

Happy Monday!  I am hoping to get into a routine over here with my posts.  I would like to share some mini albums every Monday, in the hopes that you will link your mini albums too.  It can be an old mini album or a recent one.. this is just another place you can show it off.  So lets’ begin with today.. nothing like short notice.. but we’ll see what happens.  I am sure most of you already have mini albums somewhere on your website or blog, so please share away.

Genuinely Jane Studios.. 2 more books & a Blog Hop Winner

Here is a Genuinely Jane Studios  airplane book I painted only using the Chalkboard paint from Martha Stewart.  I thought this would be  a perfect activity for a little boy or girl to have during their first plane ride.  Give them the book & some chalk.. and hopefully they keep busy for a little while.

 

The other Ice Cream book from GJS was featured during our blog hop.  A few people asked me what products I had used so now I am sharing the products.  The Stamps were from 100 Proof Press rubber stamps  and the pink and blue paint I used were from Creative Inspirations paint.  I just love the colors.

Dress Form Banner from GJS

Here is my 3rd project working as a designer for Genuinely Jane Studios.  I decided to take this book apart and use it as a banner.  I still have one of the pieces set aside for another project.

Products that i used on this project:  Tim Holtz embellishments, Graphic 45 pp, stain, canvas corp rope & burlap, and a real zipper.

What I love about the books from Genuinely Jane Studios is that you don’t have to use them as books.  So far I have only used one of the projects as a book.. one was used as a set of coasters and now this is a banner.  What would you do with a dress form book?  I love to hear your ideas too~  Thanks for visiting my page~
