Wood Block

Wooden Blocks are Back!

So you know how I love playing with wooden blocks right?  Well I haven’t had any in a long time.   I made a special request to GENUINELY JANE STUDIOS and they made some!   I am super excited.. they are lighter, better, cut perfectly and are awesome.. I am back  to playing with blocks.

Here is my example of what I did with the first one.  I know it’s early but I love Halloween!  The hardest part of  this project was making the witches hat!  I used two rosettes for the bottom but I had to roll my own top piece out of cs then I painted it black to give it more weight.   I used Authentiques Glowing Collection for the paper.  I painted & glued a wooden candlestick to one side of my block.  Added a few mini clips to hold some Halloween pictures… and poof.. it’s done!

Do you want to play with blocks?  They are on sale for $1.81 at the Genuinely Jane Studios Website.. 3.5″ x 3.5″ of fun for only $1.81..

The Boo to You sign is made from taking a page out of the Birdcage book that I just posted a few days ago.  Think off all the signs you can make with that??  What would you do with a block?  I would love to hear your ideas.  Leave me a comment, like my Facebook page and one lucky person will be sent a block!
