New month, New Challenge

Happy February~  One of my favorite months, but also the coldest.   Perfect month to stay inside and craft like crazy. I am a couple of days late getting this post up.. sorry we were still voting on our January Challenge and I stayed off the computer yesterday for my birthday.

Congratulations to our January 2013 Challenge winner.. it was a very close call but,  Traci B from Scrappy Daze  had the most votes.. congrats. As soon as you get me your address I will send you your prize.  Thank you for the 55 entries we received the last month.. hopefully you are coming back for our Material/Fabric Challenge.

February’s Challenge is our Material Challenge.  Time to use your Wool,  Burlap, Canvas, Felt, Fabric, Fussy or soft stuff.. as long as you are using material of some kind you can submit it.

Please make sure you are linking your project back to your post and you are mentioning our challenge in your post.

Here is a look at what some of the designers did for this challenge.  You have a short month to work with so you should get started soon.

Here is the prize package for February.  Our Designer Laura Cox is hosting this month’s challenge so she will be sending you all of this.  feblaura

June Challenge & May’s Winner

Wow.. what a great turn out for our May Challenge.. 63 wonderful entries.  It was really hard to choose just one~  Our May winner is # 17  Elaine.  We loved how you used the crocheted flowers in that cluster and used a paper flower too.  You received the most votes.. congrats.  Please email me your address so Lisa can send you your winnings.  I will also email you our badge to display.

June’s Challenge is being hosted by Maya. Here is what Maya has picked for our June Challenge.

Punches, punches, punches!  My favorite scrapbooking tools for sure! Easy to use, portable, versatile, they became a “must-have” in my scrapbooking arsenal. Not that often I will finish a layout or a card without using a punch, or two, or many! For this layout I used my favorite Fiskars Border and Corner punch Lace and Lattice for the large photo mat. To make the zig zag border I punched individual arrows using Fiskars One Way squeeze punch. I glued the arrows under the brown patterned paper, making sure that only the top of the arrow is visible. The fun confetti are actually the punch-outs from the Fiskars Bubbles border punch.

Maya will be sending the June Challenge winner these items:   DCWV All Chalked Up cardstock matstack, Fiskars Limited Edition Under The Tress squeeze punch, MME Stella Rose stamp set, small pillowbox full of random treasures.

June Prize Package

Here are a few photos of what the rest of the design team did with their punches…

Maya is our host for this month’s challenge, check out her blog if you have a few minutes.   mayadahan.blogspot.com

Our June Give a way will be posted on Sunday.. make sure you add your email address to our site, so you don’t miss the post~

We can’t wait to see what you create with your punches.

R U Ready 4 A Challenge? Use items that start with C.H.A

So yesterday I introduced you to the 4 members of my design team, I hope you had a chance to visit their sites.  They are going to help  inspire you to take part in my monthly challenges.

I kept it simple.  Share something current, add your links, stick with the rules, and come back to see who won.  Leaving comments are welcome, following the site is awesome, but having you as a friend is even better.  My challenges will be once a month so don’t forget to check back to see if you win.  My challenges are posted ahead of time on my challenge page, so you really have tons of time to prepare.

for the CHA challenge winner: Pink Paislee goodies, trims, hearts, key, perfect for Valentines Day!

Link your creations at the end of the post.  A challenge winner badge  and the prizes to the left will go to the winning design.  I have a Valentine Themed set of goodies going to the winner: Pink Paislee products, trims, hearts, key, & misc. valentine love!  Only one winner and the designers choose the winners along w/ a few other fellow blogging friends.

1st Challenge of the YEAR!  I am getting ready to go to CHA in California, so I thought why not use some products that start with a C, H, and an A.  Here are our examples of using a C.H.A in our projects.  Click on the photos if you would like to see them closer and get more info.  You will notice we all love to use Hemp or it was an easy H word to use… I can’t wait to see what you use.
