Where am I ?? Good question~

The snow has finally melted off of the top of our pool, now I know, Spring is on its way!    I love the changing of seasons!  I use that as a perfect time to make a few changes in my personal life and business life.

I am often asked, “Where are you working now?  Where are you teaching?  Who are you working for?”  Then I have to ask myself.. Really? Where am I?

Coincidently I just updated my “working” resume and my “craft” resume.  I am surprised how often changes are made to the craft resume.  Mainly just adding new locations or changing the dates of past design team terms.  However, when I answer those questions about where I am, most of the time the answers are the same.

I am still the Paper Craft Instructor at the Kenosha Hobby Lobby, in fact I have been there since 2009.   I still have my ties to the Kenosha Public Museum, area schools, the country club, and stores.  But most of the time I am teaching in my home studio and classroom.  I have a few proposals on the table for a few other locations to start teaching at.. but that’s on hold till we finalize the details.  I am still a Close To My Heart consultant and of course the owner of my Scrap It Girl business.  I am a full-time paper craft instructor, designer, and retailer.

My classes range from Scrapbooking, Card Making, Tool & Technique classes, Cricut Classes, Kids Crafts, Home/Holiday Décor,  Mixed Media and Altered Art.   I teach about 2-5 classes per week, but every week is different.  I am currently scheduling myself at the Kenosha Hobby Lobby 2 times per month and 2 times per month at other locations.  The rest of the classes will be in my home studio.    Another huge question I get is.. how do I find out about your classes?  Easy answer.. just ask me, message me, or call me.   My class schedule, info, price, and additional info, is emailed out once a week.   I do have a class every Tuesday at 9:30-11:30 a.m and 5:30-7:30 p.m.   I usually have Kids Classes on Friday’s.  My private classes are all over the place, same with group events.  But I am available to teach pretty much any day or time of the week, as long as you let me know in advance.  This is my full-time job, so I try to meet with you according to your schedule.  I also have women that schedule private classes for groups of their friends.  I have had bridal shower parties come in and make what they need for a brides wedding, a baby shower class, and even a graduation party.  I can either help with the ideas of planning, decorating, or maybe just renting out my tables and party props.   I also make party invites, decorations, and help set up.

Here are just a few pictures of recent happenings…
