Stamped Tag & Nov. Challenge Winner

Before I talk about my stamped tag.. I better mention the Stencil Challenge winner from our November Challenge.  Congrats to Kathleen White!  Contact me soon so Maya can send you your prize.

Today I am showing off things that I love from two companies that I love.  One company is The Rubber Café.  I have talked about them several times in the past and shared a few of their items that I love.  Today I am showing how I used  4 of their stamps on my tag.  The stamps are from their Creative Café Monthly Kit called Twas the Night.

The other company is Linnie Blooms.. which we know I am on the design team for but I just have to show off their mittens.  I love the size, perfect shape, and how there is a million things you can do with it.  I combined the two companies products to make a Holiday tag.. or it can be an ornament.

Let me first show the stamp sets from The Rubber Café.

I love making tags for all the Holidays but I rarely use stamps on my tags.. I was really happy to be able to use these wonderful stamps on just one tag.  This tag is actually hanging on my Christmas tree.  It looks better in person.  I added a felt padded backing to it to give it more stiffness.  I also used the snowflake bling & black ribbon that came with the Creative Café Kit from The Rubber Café.  You really need to check out the kits.. you get a ton of goodies.

If you want to order any of these stamps or check out the Creative Café Monthly kits, check out The Rubber Café for more info & to see this month’s kit.
If you love playing with Mixed Media shapes and Canvas Journals.. please check out Linnie Blooms.

Linda Barutha is the owner, creator, designer, and wonder women.  Linda’s Linnie Blooms shop is located in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.. not to far from me… which is an added plus since we will be getting together more to meet and create together.  I have been to her shop a few times already and I have taken a class with her too.  We met a few years ago and it’s funny how we are  now working together.  Linnie Blooms main product line is the Mixed Media Linnie Shapes..  Which are these wonderful canvas shapes.  I am a huge fan of canvas products and I love her shapes.  Here are a few photos of some of her shapes but to see the whole line and to order yours check out her website.

For my first project I decided to play  with her sunflower shapes and the medium-sized butterfly. I wanted to make a quick doodle book for my oldest daughter so I used the shapes on the cover.  I needed a sun so I used her sunflower.. I used my mini Punchinella stencil and Heidi Swapp Gold Lame Color Shine to alter the sunflower and then my favorite color Tropicana Teal Color shine for the butterfly.

Glitz Spring Banner

I recently made a post about loving the new Pretty in Pink collection from Glitz Design.   Since I love it so much, I decided to make another banner for my Scrap It Girl shop.  This banner is made using the Pretty in Pink Paper Collection and 4 pieces of Canvas from Canvas Corp… I used the canvas for 2 of the banners and the 2 mini hearts.  The Giant Rhinestones in the center of my rosettes are from the Pretty in Pink Collection.  The rope is from May Arts & my clothes pins are from my stash.  I used my favorite glue from the Rubber Cafe.  Thanks for checking out my SPRING TIME banner.  If you want some of this collection and live near me.. stop by I sell this product in my shop.
